I have in the past always said "Enjoy your holidays" because I realize not everyone celebrates Christmas. But with the attacks that have been coming on anything Christian, I will not be doing that this year! Have a Merry, Happy Christmas! Enjoy Your Hanuka! May it be a time of great happiness!
What ever your beliefs, the majority of Americans believe in Jesus Christ, and they try to honor him by celebrating Christmas. This is the time when you catch a wonderful glimps of the people we could be all year long if we stayed the course. My wish for all this year is to take the knowledge that Jesus Christ came from God, was God, and came to earth as a humble baby. He grew and live a perfect sinless human life. He lived the life we couldn't because we are weak and not holy.
When we really dwell on this, it is both awe inspiring and humbling beyond words. We need to take this knowledge with us every day and behave as if he were walking beside us; because he is walking beside us. We remember this at Christmas and behave as we should all year.
May we all remember we walk with the holy every day, and we need to become more holy every day. Amen
This blog is co-written by a husband an wife originally from western PA. It is a collection of life and its oddities and musings; as well as our personal experiences and we want to have section for my (AnitaD's) fiction, and our motorcycle trips.

Yippie! I finally got back on the forums at Victoria Magazine!
Well, almost that is. I at least got on as a guest and got registered as AnneCordelia. I had to give up my old name of teaputts, which is a shame, because I like that one. I can't wait to start the interaction with the genteel and kindly folks on the website. There is a whole different feel to the forums at Victoria. If you have a need for whimsy, beauty, and a timeless gentility, then by all means go there to imbibe of the sweet other worldliness of Victoria.
(sigh) I love the camaraderie and the dedication to making life beautiful that you will find on the site.

Don't get sick!!!
Grayson is a boob, but he had a point. "Don't get sick" is good advise. Especially after you look at the risks from medicines, and hospital infections. Did you know that correctly prescribed and taken meds when combined with incorrectly prescribed or taken meds are like the 4th or 5th leading cause of death? When separated, they are like 7th or 8th. Still pretty scary!!
Well I found a solution. Did you ever hear of Wellmune? It is a neat little thing invented by the folks over at Monavie. It is in their Mmun blend of juice, and tastes great! They like to say it tastes like money with a splash of citrus. Not only does it taste good, but it is good for you, and your immune system. It has 12 patents, and 40 pending patents. They fed this Mmun to rats and hit them with all sorts of flu viruses, colds, and other pathogens; and nothing. The rats didn't get sick. So someone got the bright idea to feed these rats terrorists strength Anthrax. I know what you are thinking. No, the rats given Mmun lived; never got the disease. Moral of the story: Never feed rodents, or people you don't like Monavie's Mmun! If you want to live, or feed it to people you like, go to healthghemm@mymonavie.com

Am I just imagining it, or is the price of groceries going through the roof?
So we keep hearing how there is no inflation, and we are doing OK considering. I mean, the old folks didn't even need an increase in their measly Social Security income, right? So why is my grocery bill going through the roof? Even when the price didn't go up, the package got smaller. Why? This is the growing season locally, and I am still paying a fairly high price for what I get. Today, for instance, I picked up milk, bread, coffee, peaches, grapes, bananas, a big sub, band aids and a pizza and salad stuff for dinner and two boxes of Little Debbie's for lunches. It cost me $80 to walk out of the store. We will be eating very carefully monitored portions over the next few months. I may make the boys eat beans, well seasoned with ginger. I just don't know how people are going to do it.
We took one of the cars off of the insurance and parked it this week. It will be a real crimp in the way we work the family, but I don't see another way until Bob is out of school and we are both working full time. We are working at selling his car, as he will be getting his motorcycle back on the road this week end. When it rains or is too cold, he will be using my car. The way things are going, we may sell it and get a jalopy! I am, for the first time in my life, really scared about the future. I hope everyone else is doing better.

A Visit Back Home
Who ever wrote, "You can't go home again," was partly right. I really enjoyed my trip home, but is is always different than it was. My friends are busy with their own small children, careers, home care, and many have moved. We always do enjoy a good get together though. We always act like we did when we were stupid kids, at least for a time.
Case in point, is the time where my younger brother, Jason did an "interpretive dance" with sparklers at our friend Scotts on the 4th. Now he is in his 40s, and his hopping and jigging WAS funny. He was breathless, and sweating to beat all when he was finished, but we were howling. Then he said it was Louie's turn (Scott's nick name). To the chants of "Louie, Louie" Scott did his version of the "interpretive dance" with sparklers. He was in as bad a shape to be doing this as Jason. As he was catching his breath and laughing, I heard, "Damned people!" I started to laugh and shouted, "Those Damned Kyles!" Everyone laughed as Scott bellowed out, "Yeah! Damned Kyles!" Before collapsing in laughter.
Sad truth is, we all have some health issues going on, and behaving with these childish antics is wonderful for a time, then reality comes back like a brick wall. Still, I am glad to go back

NVIC Vaccine News
I know my son's autism is from the vaccines. Other parents of Autistic children will agree with me, so will several of their close family members. Others will think we are all nuts. But I know what I know. There is no autism in my family what so ever. My husband had two uncles who married women with autistic siblings, and each one has an autistic child, but it was supposed to have been from their wives' families. So where did it come from if it is genetic?
No I watch my son become autistic within 15 minutes of being improperly vaccinated, and that is that

Life'an 'at
I love Victoria Magazine. I have since the day I bought the premier issue. It captured my imagination and need for prettiness. I almost cried when I discovered that it was discontinued! Then it came back!! What sweet jubilation! I was so incredible excited. So much had happened that was not pretty in my life in the intervening years, that made be cling to the magazine and web site like a drowning woman.
For anyone not acquainted with the magazine, it has a deep emotional connection for us Victoria lovers. It reminds us of loved ones long gone, days gone by, the prettier side of life. There is nostalgia and longing for us. Unfortunately, I can't access the darned web site anymore! Three times I have contacted the web master, and now am so frustrated.
I love that forums. There were "kindred spirits" and the "race that knows Joseph" frequented the pages of the forums. It was there I could go and know with utter assurance, that not one foul utterance would be on the page, not one discomfiting name would be called. It was a place of total acceptance, dedication to making life beautiful, and growing in graciousness. I loved those people and my space in their lives.
Maybe one day the webmaster will contact me and allow me safe passage again.

My First Time Volunteering In a Political Event
Today I volunteered at campaign headquarters for Patricia Sullivan in Florida's 8th district. I decided to volunteer because I met Patrica and her husband in the local Costco and liked them. I was even more impressed at our training session. Patricia refused, even in the safety of her own headquarters, to belittle or besmirch her opponents, and insisted that we do the same. Talk about your clean campaigner!
She is intelligent and ethical. I believe we have a truly ethical person here. I have no qualms that she will be able to do the job of congress person with distinction. She is more interested in serving her constituents than in serving the party or the political establishment. Or as she says, she is a patriot not a politician.
This is a truly grass roots candidate and campaign. Of the 25 of us there for training, only 2 had ever worked on any kind of political campaign or project before. Three of us can't even vote for her, because we aren't in her district! But I think (as do the other two people) that is important that we get as many real people, people who are patriots, not politicans in Washington. Getting people like her in will help us all. Since I can't go home to help in my district, I will help her here.

A bitter sweetener.
I will admit to occationally listening to the radio show Coast to Coast as I drift off to sleep. I will not, however, admitt to being part of the tin foil hat gang. Still, on the few times I have heard it, some of the less exotic segments do give you something to think about. Take for instance the one that was on the other night featuring Dr. Betty Martini. It was about aspertame.
Now I would assume that most US citizens have at least heard of the documentary Sweet Deception, and know there is some difference about artificial sweeteners' saftey. But if one-half of what is on Dr. Martini's web site is accurate, we are in serious trouble. I am sure the FDA would say that the MDs opposing aspartame are alarmists. Problem is, too many of them are reputable, and do research, or are close to those who do. They are all saying the same thing, and they have documentation to back them up. The FDA just has name calling.
Some times I think I am going nuts. This organization is supposed to keep unsafe additives out of our food supply, yet they are in the pockets of Monsanto and others. The corruption in my government makes me sad; but it also makes me as mad as hell! Who do these amoral, puissant, money grubbing, sell-outs think they are? It is time for a total house cleaning of our government, and I think we may be on the edge of needing an out and out revolution. God I hope not! I really don't want war, and the havoc and devastation that comes with it. I just think the apathy of decades, the good 'ole boy system adopted by the hippies not in office may be too entrenched to take care of it any other way.
God help our country! He is the only one who can now, because we have destroyed it.

My Knee pain is gone!
OK, OK, I went to a neighbors to have a network marketing meeting. I was not interested at all. Then they started talking about the product, MonaVie. Now I am familiar with Thai-Go, from Nature's Sunshine, and love it. So I really wasn't interested. But for some reason I tried it.
A few days later I was reading and realized it was raining. Then it hit me like a ton of bricks. It was raining, and I hadn't felt it coming! In my entire life, I have never been pain free during rain. My parents could predict the weather with my aching knees when I as 2. When the shock wore off, I shrugged it off and thought I would wait until the next cold rain to believe it. We got that cold rain, and I didn't know it was coming.
Just to check it out, I changed drinks, and my arthritis was back with a vengeance. I have had rheumatoid arthritis in my knees since I was an infant. Early on, I found out that if I practiced yoga, and did flexibility exercises, I didn't hurt as much. I tried natural remedies, but nothing ever made a big enough dent to justify continuing on the programs. Apparently the glucosamine is highly bio-available, and so I was able to use it. Although it may have been the combination of the glucosamine and anti-oxidant properties. I don't care, it worked.
The only other time I ever heard of anything close to curing arthritis was my college room mate. She had a relative send her to Japan for her severe and debilitating arthritis. She took plenty of herbs, and excercised in a large dry freezer. The freezer room was so cold, you had to build up to optimal time in it. Well, this is the next best thing. You don't have to go Asia, drink nasty tasting herbs, or go into a room that is so cold.
I believe in this drink so much, I signed up to sell it and offer distributorships. Just go to this site if you are interested. http://healthghemm.mymonavie.com/
Have a happy healthy day! I know mine are healthier.

My Arms still fee empty
The little girl caught my eye immediately. There were other little girls there, but this one I honed in on with directness and fervor. Two women started talking to her grandfather about her age.
"Of course she is two!" I thought to myself.
It has been seven years since I lost my daughters in a house fire, but I still zero in on two and four year old girls. They draw me in with a hypnotic and devastating singleness. How do I know? It doesn't matter that they are large or small for their age, or what their maturity level is. I know. I suppose that is natural since Gwendolyn was four and Margaret was two.
The depression is still hard to fight after seeing a little girl of their age, and being smacked with the realization that they are forever etched in my mind as infants. I wonder often what they would be like if they were still alive. Would Gwendolyn still be the little lady who loved life and was always just so pleased with herself and everything that happened to her? Would Margaret still love the color blue, and still be the better dancer who watched and waited until she was ready to dance?
So many questions unanswered and poignantly waiting in silence, never to be answered in this life. When, I wonder will my arms stop feeling so empty?

Another surprise!
Here is another sign warning us about bombs and radiation! Like the tree line was a safe wall to keep the radiation in. They surely would have had to have anything that emitted radiation far enough away to not be a hazard at the road. But they did warn to stay out because of live bombs.
Big Surpise!
We came up on some signs that surprised us, and gaves us a few minuets worry. We hope we were over the magical line.
Drive through Ocala National Forest

One thing that really caught our attention at this site was the fact that all of the growth was the same height. I am guessing a hurricane took out the old growth, and this new growth was as a result of that devastation. It looked like a 3-5 year growth.

Brilliant founder Quote of the Day
- Elbridge Gerry
"What, sir, is the use of militia? It is to prevent the establishment of a standing army, the bane of liberty. . . Whenever Government means to invade the rights and liberties of the people, they always attempt to destroy the militia, in order to raise a standing army upon its ruins." --

Our weight adventure
Bob got under his plateau yesterday. He is doing well, but cheated a little yesterday and didn't loose anything. He is 3lbs under his the weight he has not been able to break
We are using HCG. It was discovered by Dr. Simmeons in the 40s and it is a hormone. It is called HCG for short; the full name being Human Chorionic Gonadotropin. But I will get into that later on.
He discovered there are three kinds of fat. Structural fat, the kind that protects your body, like the fat around your kidneys. It is also like a packing fat. It is, in Dr. Simmeons' words, "stuffed in around your organs." The second type of fat, is a reserve fat used for fuel. It is just what it sounds like. You store and use this fat when you need it. Our ancestors had this kind of fat stored up from the times of plenty for the lean times.
Now, he also discovered a third kind of fat on obese patients. This kind of fat was "abnormal" in his words. True, it was a potential reserve of fuel for the body, but it was locked away and unavailable. When they tried to loose, they burned the second kind of fat first, then structural, and lastly the abnormal fat.
If I understand Dr. Simmeons in conjunction with modern findings, I understand why it becomes harder to lose weight each time you diet. You lower your ability to metabolize, and make the lock to the abnormal fat harder to pick, so to speak. Part of the problem is the structural fat has been shown to be a fuel burning fat. In other words, the structural fat burns fat. Each time you diet, you lose some of that fat. Now your body believes it is in dire need of that abnormal fat.
So how do you make your body burn that fat? Enter HCG. It is a hormone your body produces when you are pregnant to make you burn fuel fat first. That is why when I had 24 hour a day morning sickness for 6+months, I lost weight, and had a healthy baby 3 times. The only difference is the homeopathic dose we are taking is much lower than what my body would produce. It is also great for naturally tightening the skin. No loose crepe paper skin after HCG.
I am giving Bob a few more days before we start posting his weight and pictures, and a couple of weeks for me. I will be restarting the process tomorrow.

I want a job like the Washington Elites
I was watching Beck, and had an epiphany. I keep seeing the same names on the boards of these big foundations. Valerie Jarod, Bill Ayers, Franklin Raines, Barak Obama, and other. I keep seeing them over and over again. Now how can you be on the board of The Tides Foundation, The Chicago Climate Exchange, ACORN, The Joyce Foundation and others, and have a job on top of this, if they are legitimate jobs?
Can I please have one of those jobs? Just one job that I only have to show up periodically for a few hours and get paid hundreds of thousands of dollars for the show up? Please? Pretty please with sugar on top?
No wonder there is such a disconnect from mainstream America by those "leaders" or as I say "bullies". These people all have their buddies filling all of their jobs and are all washing each others backs; laughing all the way to the bank. Then they get up on their platforms and say how much they are for the working class. Yeah, right.

Funny little rap.
I was looking for something else, and saw this on Beck's site. It was too funny to pass up.

Weighty Matters
So here I am about the weight again. I did mess myself up, and had a false start on the Simmeons Protocol. My husband, Bob is doing well. He has lost 9lbs in 7 days. Not bad at all when you consider that 2 of them were gorge days. Yes, gorge days. He stuffed himself silly. I get to redo this too. I am debating whether I should start as early as Sat, or whether my body needs a few more days to adjust to the new thyroid hormone.
He has never, in the last 10 years ever made past the point he is at today. I won't post his weight yet, if he continues as is, I will post his weight along with pictures. I will also post where you can go to get more information on the Simmeons Protocol and HCG.

A Hero We Should Be Hearing About.
This came around in an email today, and I have to wonder why we keep hearing about the childish and rude antics of the so-called celebrities, instead of the the wonderful actions of heroes like this.
Courage. You're a 19 year old kid. You're critically wounded and dying in the jungle somewhere in the Central Highlands of Viet Nam .. It's November 11, 1967. LZ (landing zone) X-ray.
Your unit is outnumbered 8-1 and the enemy fire is so intense, from 100 yards away, that your CO (commanding officer) has ordered the MedEvac helicopters to stop coming in. You're lying there, listening to the enemy machine guns and you know you're not getting out. Your family is half way around the world, 12,000 miles away, and you'll never see them again. As the world starts to fade in and out, you know this is the day.
Then - over the machine gun noise - you faintly hear that sound of a helicopter. You look up to see a Huey coming in. But ... It doesn't seem real because no MedEvac markings are on it. Captain Ed Freeman is coming in for you. He's not MedEvac so it's not his job, but he heard the radio call and decided he's flying his Huey down into the machine gun fire anyway.
Even after the MedEvacs were ordered not to come. He's coming anyway. And he drops it in and sits there in the machine gun fire, as they load 3 of you at a time on board. Then he flies you up and out through the gunfire to the doctors and nurses and safety. And, he kept coming back!! 13 more times!! Until all the wounded were out. No one knew until the mission was over that the Captain had been hit 4 times in the legs and left arm.
He took 29 of you and your buddies out that day. Some would not have made it without the Captain and his Huey.
Medal of Honor Recipient, Captain Ed Freeman, United States Air Force, died last Wednesday at the age of 70, in Boise, Idaho . May God Bless and Rest His Soul. I bet you didn't hear about this hero's passing, but we've sure seen a whole bunch about Michael Jackson and Tiger Woods.
Medal of Honor Winner Captain Ed Freeman
Shame on the American media !!! Now ... YOU pass this along to YOUR mailing list. Honor this real American. Please.

First real motorcycle ride here in Florida.
OK. Bob is planning a nice little ride for just the two of us, since his dad isn't here to take our son on his bike. We are riding to Ocala State Park and packing a picnic. Bob has been riding ever since he got down here, and he took me on a couple of short rides, but this will be the first real one. We will take the camera and post the trip.

Is it just me?
I was watching the news today with growing atonishment and bewilderment. How can our congress sit there and point their fingers at the people from Goldman Sachs, when half of them were on the dole, and at leats 6 former members of the company are in the Whitehouse? And why are they so into blaming the private sector, when THEY were saying nothing was wrong, each of the 16 or 17 times this was brought up before them before the crash?
Do you remember the kid in school who caused the trouble and then sat there and tattled on everyone else? Remember how that kid was always in the center of the storm, but always wiggled out by blaming the noisier children? Sounds like our congress. No wonder we hate the weasels so badly!
I think 80%+ would sell their own mothers to the devil for a vote. What will they do to this country for a vote? They are short-sighted, spoiled, self-indulgent, untrustworthy, spineless, and some are down right traitorous. We need to get fresh blood and not keep them long enough to get corrupt. While we are at it, this was never meant to be a career path! How about we do away with perks and pensions?!?
How can we seriously expect people who call Arizona a police state, and at the same time call for the Guard to rule Chicago to be intellectually honest? Stop and think about that. They are calling Arizona a police state, because police can ask for both license and proof of residency at traffic stops, but they want marshal law instituted in Chicago. And they see no conflict of interests, no irony, no hypocrisy in that?
Really!! Is it just me?

Weight issues
Weight is my bane, and it is, quite frankly, killing me. I was an undiagnosed hypo-thyroid sufferer for years. Three times I endured undiagnosed postpartum induced hypothyroid. I gained 30lbs with each pregnency. Long story-short. I gained over 100lbs, and feel like I am suffocating.
Forget what you read in the MD's offices about true hypo-thyroid people only gaining 10lbs. I have been on the blog, and web support sites and have read way too many post from people like me. Dr. Mark Hyman also reinforced our experiences in his books.
So I did something drastic, and I will be letting you all know about it. I got on HCG. Now I tried this once before, with injections in belly fat. It worked really well until someone dropped it out of the fridge and it got warm. That made it loose it's potency. I just didn't have the money to do it again. But I found a homeopathic version that can be used in drops absorbed under the tongue. I may have to restart the thing, because I messed up at the beginning.
Tomorrow if I have not started the weight loss process, I will go off of it for a few days and retry it.
