Drive through Ocala National Forest

Theses pictures are backward to the way we uploaded them. Oh well! Live and learn.
These three picts are a panoramic view of one of the lakes in the forest. There was a nice picnic and parking area, and a in one of them you can see the drag marks from the boats.

This is where the people put the boats in the water. Bob was watching the area while I took this pic, because he thought it might have been a gator drag mark. When he saw a little oil floating, he came to the conclusion it was a boat launch area.

This was on the way into Ocala National Forest. See the pink dirt road. The main road through the forest was paved, but it was a highway. All access roads off of the main one into the forest were dirt.
One thing that really caught our attention at this site was the fact that all of the growth was the same height. I am guessing a hurricane took out the old growth, and this new growth was as a result of that devastation. It looked like a 3-5 year growth.
